Mat Mulholland
Mathew started his career in 2007 during the recession as a roofing salesman, knocking on doors before opening his own successful roofing company less than 6 months later. He became a Public Adjuster and started a firm that became the largest PA firm in GA handling up to 3000 claims per year. Mat developed a passion for teaching after creating a YouTube channel and Podcast called “Listen to this Bull” where he exposes the BS in the industry and provides simple, and entertaining answers. To pursue that passion Mathew sold his PA firm and co-founded the National Claims Institute and the Building Experts Institute where he trained thousands of contractors and public adjusters in the art of claims handling, investigations, and negotiations. Mathew has been politically active in the industry involved with many association boards including GAPIA, AAPIA, and the APA.
Mathew is currently an educator and consultant by day and working with Matt Danskin and Jon Tilghman to develop in-depth online training at the Building Experts Institute that houses courses designed for everyone involved in the restoration industry. He also does his own testing and research using a home-built hail cannon system affectionately known as the lil’ S.H.I.T. (Shoots Hail Into Things). You may see the hail cannon at industry events where he shoots anything and everything!
And he wears that hat… Everywhere.
