Join our Ash Smoke Soot Preferred Contractor Network to receive interior and exterior smoke related claims from top insurance carriers that are prescreened with laboratory findings and a full remediation plan put together by our public adjusters. We provide training opportunities for your company, and support through the claim process. We are your partner for success!

If you’re tired of just another service provider knocking on doors, then you’ll want to join our Network!

HOW IT WORKS

As we receive claims from carriers or directly from policyholders, we verify our finding with laboratory testing and a public adjuster develops a full remediation plan specific of the damage and toxins found. We then assign these claims to contractors in our network – one contractor per claim! We do not sell leads; we distribute pre-verified assignments.

Minimum Qualification Requirements:

Our services are much different than typical damage restoration and cleaning services. Therefore, your company has to meet our qualification and training requirements to be accepted. Please inquire for a complementary detailed package on joining our network.

WHY THE ASH, SMOKE, AND SOOT MARKET IS SO IMPORTANT!

RISKS FROM SMOKE

According to the EPA, smoke is made up of a complex mixture of gases and fine particles produced when wood and other organic materials burn, not to mention the potential toxins found in structural fires. The biggest health threat from smoke is from fine particles. These microscopic particles can penetrate deep into your lungs causing a range of health problems, from burning eyes and a runny nose to aggravated chronic heart and lung diseases. Exposure to particle pollution is even linked to premature death.

HEALTH EFFECTS

The size of particles is directly linked to their potential for causing health problems. Small particles less than 10 micrometers in diameter pose the greatest problems, because they can get deep into your lungs, and some may even get into your bloodstream.

Exposure to such particles can affect both your lungs and your heart. Numerous scientific studies have linked particle pollution exposure to a variety of problems, including:

  • Premature death in people with heart or lung disease
  • Nonfatal heart attacks
  • Irregular heartbeat
  • Aggravated asthma
  • Decreased lung function
  • Increased respiratory symptoms, such as irritation of the airways, coughing or difficulty breathing.
  • People with heart or lung diseases, children, and older adults are the most likely to be affected by particle pollution exposure.

SOME PEOPLE ARE MORE AT RISK

It’s especially important for you to pay attention to local air quality reports during a fire if you are

  • A person with heart or lung disease, such as heart failure, angina, ischemic heart disease, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, emphysema or asthma.
  • An older adult, which makes you more likely to have heart or lung disease than younger people.
  • Caring for children, including teenagers, because their respiratory systems are still developing, they breathe more air (and air pollution) per pound of body weight than adults, they’re more likely to be active outdoors, and they’re more likely to have asthma.
  • A person with diabetes, because you are more likely to have underlying cardiovascular disease.
  • A pregnant woman, because there could be potential health effects for both you and the developing fetus.

ABOUT US

Ash, Soot, and Smoke, LLC was founded by a group of technology and insurance industry veterans that have been disrupting the industry for the past decade. We noticed that homeowners were often only receiving janitorial and maid services, if any, when impacted by toxic smoke plumes. Incensed by this and the potential long-term health effects on homeowners, we founded a company to fight back ensuring that homeowners, their family, and pets are rightly restored to pre-toxin conditions. We developed a process for using cutting edge technologies and satellite imagery to detect impacted households and the latest in laboratory testing to validate results. We then built a nationwide network of laboratories, public adjusters, and contractors that meet our exacting specifications and protocols for effective remediation and response to smoke, soot, and ash hazards.
